SERVICES & PRODUCTS
CHAMFER
Chamfers are an improvement on a normal negative rake tool, ultimately allowing for a tool technician to program a simple tool path without compensation to produce the desired material surface.
CONTROLLED RADIUS
Edge Technologies produces diamond tools measuring a standard 0.25 microns peak-to-valley but have the ability to produce very low waviness tools measuring down to 50 nanometers.
STYLI
A stylus is a small 90 degree pointed diamond used for cutting master record recordings. Some styli require a mounted heating wire to bring the diamond to a required temperature for optimal machining.
MILLING TOOLS
Our chemical process polishes the diamond edge without removing the diamond from the shank. This means less time, less money, and fewer steps for a resharpened tool.
RESHARPEN
We offer rake resharpening and radius resharpening services for our own tools as well as other manufacturers' tools. Our proprietary resharpening process minimizes variables to and allows us to produce consistent results.
